WEEL VIRTUAL CREDIT CARD POLICY

PURPOSE 

  1. The purpose of this WEEL Virtual Credit Card Policy is to ensure that the WEEL Virtual Credit Card (the “Weel Card”) are issued and used appropriately by members and staff for agreed and approved purposes.

 

SCOPE

  1. This Policy sets out WAC’s policy in relation to eligibility, issuance and use of a Weel Card. It applies to all WEEL virtual credit cardholders (the Cardholder).

POLICY

 

  1. The use of WEEL Cards is Wilinggin’s preferred payment method for providing members with a means to pay for approved Member Benefits.  The use of Purchase Orders will remain in place where a member is unable to meet the WEEL Policy conditions set forth herein.

  2. Members are required to complete and submit the Wilinggin Member Benefit Application form at least one week PRIOR to requiring funds (as per the current Member Benefit application process).

  3. WEEL Cards are only available to officially registered Wilinggin Aboriginal Corporation members.

  4. WEEL Cards will only be issued in the name of the officially registered Wilinggin member.

  5. In order to be issued a WEEL Card, the Wilinggin member applying for Member Benefits must have their own unique email address through which the card is issued.

  6. Members who are unable to provide a unique email address of their own will be issued with a paper-based Purchase Order as per the current process.

  7. WEEL Virtual Credit Cards must be used appropriately and within the intent to which it has been provided.  

  8. The purchase of alcohol or tobacco products is STRICTLY PROHIBITATED.  

    1. Any evidence that the WEEL card has been used to purchase alcohol or tobacco, WILL result in the card being removed permanently from the Cardholder

  9. The Cardholder must take a photograph of the purchase receipt and email it to weel@wilinggin.com.au as evidence of expenditure.
